In addition to knowing and understanding in detail the particularities, opportunities and challenges of the general insolvency regime under Colombian Law 1116 of 2006, as well as of those provided by Decrees 560 and 772 of 2020 (issued in reaction to coronavirus pandemic), we understand the specificities of the different regimes, including those applicable to public, mix and private entities, financial institutions, commercial and non-commercial individuals, companies, branches of foreign companies and trusts. We also have wide experience representing claims of persons affected by illegal crowdfunding, and in liquidation processes carried out as an intervention measure before the Superintendence of Companies.

We work together with our clients proposing alternatives to overcome crises, promoting private negotiation and activating legal mechanisms that allow those affected to participate in the process, structuring complex mechanisms and security packages, as well as of schemes of universal business transfers, mergers and acquisitions.
